I’m from a place called Bandon, a country town at the gateway to West Cork. You may or may not have heard, but Bandon, like a lot of the rest of the country, was flooded out of it last week. Quite devastated in fact. I felt so helpless listening to the news from my mother and sister, and seeing the photos on friends Facebook pages. I cannot imagine how gutted the whole town is, I was close to tears just hearing about it, I cannot imagine living it. (more…)
So, at the start of May this year I weighted in at 107kg in my bare feet. It took me a long time, but I had gotten to the point where I couldn’t convince myself any longer that this was okay. I had joined a gym back in 2005. Back then I tipped 118kg, and a size 26. I got down to 112 by exercising a load but not changing my diet one bit. I felt better, but it didn’t last.

From my very limited experience, I understand that in blogging it’s best to make it witty, or educational, or maybe promote my latest vehicle. Except I don’t have a vehicle, unless you count the Punto sitting outside whom I have stopped loving because she has cost me so much money in the last few months that i could have replaced her by now with a nice shiny Focus.
